Tasks

To provide visitors and employees of VORONEZHKAUCHUK JSC with a convergent, efficient, reliable and secured wireless information environment for Internet access.

Solution

Corporate class wireless network, based on Cisco Unified Wireless Network, was deployed.

Following procedures were carried out during the project implementation:

  • Technical Task for designing a wireless network was created
  • A project of wireless network was designed
  • Cisco Aironet 1702L and 1242AG Wi-Fi wireless access points were installed
  • Cisco Wireless LAN Controller 2504 (WLC2504) was implemented
  • Newly created wireless network was integrated with the existing network and IT infrastructure

VORONEZHKAUCHUK  JSC  is one of the largest producers of high-quality rubbers and thermoplastic elastomers in Russia.

In the corporate structure of SIBUR, VORONEZHSYNTEZKACHUK is the part of plastics, elastomers and organic synthesis management.

The main products of the enterprise are synthetic rubbers obtained by different polymerization methods (solution and emulsion), which makes them different in structure and, consequently, in properties. Rubbers are widely used in the production of rubber for automobile, aviation and bicycle tires, rubber products, etc.

The enterprise includes the production of butadiene rubbers with the capacity of 91 thousand tons per year, butadiene-styrene rubbers of emulsion polymerization with the capacity of 80 thousand tons per year, styrene-butadiene rubber of solution polymerization with the capacity of 23 thousand tons per year, neodymium polybutadiene rubber with the capacity of 30 thousand tons per year, as well as the production of thermoelastoplasts with a capacity of 85 thousand tons per year.

There is a modern system of biological sewage treatment in the infrastructure of the enterprise. It is designed with a capacity of 305 thousand cubic meters per day, which purifies not only the effluent of the enterprise, but also industrial and domestic sewage throughout the left-bank part of the city of Voronezh.
